Mirror Unisex Salon

You can find us at Shop Number 1 in the Choksi Villa Apartment. It’s right there at Ram Chowk on Ghoddod Road, which is always a busy spot. We are across from where Dr. Batra’s place is located. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just pop in when they are passing by. The shop isn't massive, but we make it work with the space we have. There are mirrors everywhere, which I guess makes sense given the name on the sign outside. Sometimes the traffic at the intersection gets quite noisy, especially during the evening hours when everyone is heading home. We keep a small fan going near the door to keep the air moving when it gets humid. Most days are steady, with a mix of men and women coming in for different things. We don’t really do much advertising because people just see the sign while they are waiting at the traffic light. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps us see what we are doing. We’ve had these same chairs for a long time, and they are still holding up well. It’s a good spot to sit and watch the city move while we wait for the next person to walk in. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized throughout the day. It is mostly just about keeping the place clean and ready for whoever walks in next.
