Mehta Granite & Marble

We are set up near the GIDC on the Surat Road in Bardoli. It’s a convenient spot for us because of all the transport nearby. Our yard has been full of stone for years. We mostly deal in granite and marble, and we keep a lot of it outside so people can see how it looks in natural light. It’s a bit of a dusty life, honestly. Every morning we have to wipe down the display pieces so the colors show through. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales staff. Usually, it's just one of us sitting in the small office and the others out back with the stones. We’ve learned a lot about how different stones react to the weather around here. Some granite holds up better than others. We just tell people the truth about what we have in stock. If a batch isn't great, we say so. We don't like to over-complicate things. It’s just stone, after all. We use an old crane to move the heavy slabs around, and sometimes it gets a bit moody and needs a bit of grease. It’s a practical business. We’ve built a decent life here on Surat Road. People know they can just pull in and look around without anyone bothering them too much with a sales pitch. It’s just how we prefer to run things every day.
