Matthew Hair And Spa is located at S-61 in Karuna Sagar Society. We are right by Aai Mata Chowk in the Parvat Patia area. It stays pretty busy around here because of the Cross Road Restaurant nearby. People are always coming and going. The shop isn't tucked away, so you can see it easily when you are passing through the chowk. We spend a lot of time in here just dealing with the daily flow of customers. Some people come for a quick trim and others want more, but it is all part of the job. The air conditioner works hard during the summer months because Surat gets so humid. We try to keep the place tidy, but when four or five people are in here at once, things get a bit messy with hair and towels. We have been at this location for a bit and have gotten to know the other shop owners around the society. It’s a decent spot for a business. The morning starts with us checking the supplies and making sure there is enough water. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, which is frustrating, but we just manage. Most of the people who come in live right here in Parvat Patia. It feels like a small community even though the city is huge. We just do our work and go home like everyone else at the end of the day. It is a simple routine that keeps the place going.
