Man Mohak Ice Cream Vama'S Cafe

We opened up in the Swami Housing Society area in Adajan because it felt like a quiet spot for a small shop. It is mostly families living around here so we see a lot of kids in the evenings. We started with just a few ice cream flavors and then added some cafe items because people wanted a place to sit for a bit. The address is number 23, right in the housing block. It's not a huge space but we put some chairs out. Sometimes the freezer makes a loud noise but it keeps everything cold so we don't complain too much. We make the scoops ourselves. The coffee machine is a bit old but it still works fine if you know how to handle it. My sister helps me out on the weekends when it gets crowded. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. People just walk over from their houses. We keep the place clean as much as we can. Adajan is a busy part of town but our corner stays relatively peaceful. Sometimes we try new flavors if we find good fruit at the market. Some work out and some don't, that's just how it goes. We stay open until late because that is when people want something sweet. It’s just a regular local business run by people who live nearby. We hope the electricity doesn't go out too often in the summer.
