Malik Hair Art

We are located right at Mora Bhagal Char Rasta, which stays pretty busy most of the day. Our shop, Malik Hair Art, is on Rander Road in the 395005 area. If you look up toward Tekra Upar, that is exactly where we sit. It’s not a big fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. We have a few chairs and mirrors that have seen a lot of years. Mostly, it’s just the sound of traffic from the crossroads coming in through the door. People from around Rander come in when they need a trim. Sometimes they have to wait a bit because there’s only a couple of us working. We don't have a big staff. The floor gets covered in hair quickly and we try to sweep it up when there’s a gap between customers. It’s a simple routine. We open up early, get the tea from the stall nearby, and start. My father started working with hair and now I do it too. We don’t really use a computer for anything here. Everything is done the old way. You just walk in and take a seat. The neighborhood knows us. Being up on the tekra means we see everyone passing by on the main road below. It's a dusty spot but it’s ours. We just focus on the work in front of us until it's time to close the shop at night.
