Madhuram Dairy Sweet

Madhuram Dairy Sweet is situated at Utran 2 and we have been here since the area was much quieter than it is now. The day starts very early for us because the milk delivery comes in before the sun is even up. We have to move quickly to get everything processed and started for the day. There is a lot of lifting involved with the heavy cans and my arms are usually tired by noon. We make a variety of things but we mostly stick to what we know best. The kitchen area is quite large compared to the front of the shop and that is where we spend ninety percent of our time. It gets very steamy in there when we are boiling the milk. My brother works at the front counter and he knows almost everyone who walks through the door by their first name. We have a few shelves where we keep the finished sweets in boxes. It is not a polished place and there are always stacks of empty containers waiting to be cleaned in the back room. We just try to keep things fresh and get through the day without any major problems. Utran has changed a lot with all the new buildings but we are still doing the same thing we have always done. We don't see any reason to change how we work after all these years.
