We are located at Shop-1 in Honey Row. It is right near the old railway fatak in Kosamba. You can hear the trains passing by all day long, and the ground shakes a little bit when the big ones go through. Juna Kosamba is an older part of town, so things are a bit slower here. Our shop has been around for a while. It’s just a basic place with the spinning barber pole outside, though it doesn't spin anymore because the motor broke last year. Inside, we have the old-style heavy chairs. They are still the best for a proper shave. We use the straight razors and sharpen them on the leather straps. There is always a smell of talcum powder in the air. Most of the older men from the neighborhood come here to talk about the local news and complain about the train delays. We keep a stack of old newspapers on the table for people to read. The lighting isn't the brightest, but we know where everything is by touch now. Working near the railway crossing means we see a lot of people waiting for the gates to open. Sometimes they pop in for a quick trim while they wait. It’s a steady life. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. Just a local barber shop for the folks in Kosamba. The wooden floor creaks when you walk to the back.
