La Wonder Spa & Beauty Parlour

We’ve been running La Wonder Spa & Beauty Parlour here at M/16 Jolly Arcade for some time now. Being on Ghod Dod Road means things are always moving fast outside. If you know Surat, you know this area stays busy from morning till night. We are right opposite Rangila Park, so we often see families and kids heading over there while we are working inside the shop. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have. Nothing too big or complicated. Just the usual chairs and the mirrors we’ve had since we started. Getting to the arcade isn't too hard, though finding a parking spot on this road can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We try to keep the place tidy for everyone who walks through the door. It’s mostly locals from around the Ghoddod Road area who come in. We know a lot of them by face because they’ve been coming to this arcade for years. The shop itself is just one of many in this building, but we’ve made it our own little space. Most days, we are just busy with the daily routine, cleaning up after each person and making sure the towels are fresh. It’s quiet enough inside despite the noise from the traffic outside. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. People just see the sign when they are passing by the park or coming into the arcade for other things. It works for us.
