Kumar Salon & Spa

Our shop is down in the basement level, at LG-12, inside the Panchratna Tower. It’s situated right across from the Effil Tower on L.H. Road. Most people in the Varachha Road area know exactly where this is. We’ve got the salon and the spa sections set up side by side. It’s not a massive place, but we’ve tucked in enough chairs for everyone to get their turn. Usually, men from the nearby offices come in for a quick shave or a haircut, and we also have the spa area for when someone’s feeling a bit tired and needs a massage. It is a bit of a walk down the stairs to find us. The tower itself is quite busy, so finding a spot for your scooter can be a bit of a headache during peak hours. We just focus on our work and keeping the shop running smoothly. We don't use any high-tech machines, just the usual things like clippers, scissors, and massage oils. Some of our staff have been working here for years and they know the regulars by their names and how they like their hair cut. We see a lot of the other shopkeepers from the tower and the guys living in the apartments around Varachha. It gets a little dusty outside because of the heavy road traffic, but we try hard to keep the inside tidy and welcoming for everyone. The water is usually warm and the towels are always dry.
