Krupa Beauty Parlour

Krupa Beauty Parlour is located at 148, Mahavir Nagar Society in the Katargam area. We are very close to Gajera School, so I hear the school bell ringing several times throughout the day. When the kids get out of school, the whole street gets very loud with parents and rickshaws. Many of the mothers stop by here while they are waiting or after they have dropped their children off. The shop is part of the society, so it feels very much like a neighborhood spot. I try to keep the place looking decent with a few plants near the window. Inside, there is a chair for hair cutting and a small area for facial work. Katargam is a traditional part of Surat, and the people here appreciate a place that is straightforward and not too expensive. I have lived in the 395004 area for a long time, so I know most of the families around Mahavir Nagar. My day starts with a prayer and then I open the shop for whoever needs a haircut or some skin care. I don't use any fancy marketing tricks. People just see the sign and come in when they need something. The tools are well-used and I make sure everything is kept in its proper place. It’s a small life, but it keeps me busy and I like seeing the same faces every week.
