Kothari Marble & Granite

You can find us right on the Surat-Kamrej Road, very close to the Bnapa Sitaram Hall in Laskana. This part of the road is always packed with vehicles and people going about their business. We have been here for many years and have seen how much Laskana has changed. Our yard is filled with marble and granite and there is always something being moved around. The sound of the cranes and the traffic is just something we live with every day. We don't have any corporate training or anything like that. We just learned about stone by handling it every day for years. Our staff is small, just a few guys who have been with us since the beginning. We don't spend money on big ads because most people see us while they are stuck in traffic outside. It gets very humid here, especially in the rainy season, and that makes the work quite tough. We spend a lot of time just managing the stock and making sure the slabs are safe. People come in, look at the granite, and we talk about what they need. There is no pressure. It is just a straightforward business. We close up in the evening and head home like everyone else. We’ve built this up bit by bit over the years and we are just happy to keep going as we are. It’s a lot of hard work but we don’t mind it much.
