We’re over at Maruti Complex in the Katargam area. Our shop is number ten, right in Hari Om Society - 2. If you know where the Baps Temple is, then finding us isn't hard at all since we are quite close to it. We’ve been cutting hair and doing beauty stuff here for a while. It’s a small shop, but it gets the job done. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just a neighborhood hair place where guys and women come to get a trim or whatever else they need. The atmosphere in Katargam is always lively, and there is usually a lot of noise from the street, but inside the shop, it’s just the sound of scissors and maybe a radio playing. We know most of the people who come in by their first names because they live just a few streets away. It’s not one of those huge fancy salons you see in malls. It’s just a practical spot. The floors get messy with hair pretty quick, but we sweep it up as fast as we can. We have been in this complex for a good bit now and have seen the shops around us change, but we are still here. If you are near the temple and need a quick haircut or something, you can just stop by. We keep things pretty informal and easygoing for everyone. It's just a regular local business.
