Jyotishi Pradeep

I’m Pradeep and you can find me over at Ring Road 24, room 203. It’s an older building, so you have to mind the stairs. I’ve been doing this astrology work for years and this little office is where I spend most of my time. It’s got a good view of the traffic on Ring Road, though it can get noisy if I leave the window open during rush hour. I don’t have any assistants, so I do all the cleaning and the paperwork myself. The walls are a bit plain, maybe they could use a new coat of paint, but I never seem to get around to it. Most people who come to see me aren't looking for a fancy waiting room anyway. They just want to sit down and talk about what’s bothering them or what they’re hoping for. I have my notebooks spread out across the table and a few pens that actually work. I focus on the birth charts and the movements of the planets. It’s straightforward work. I don’t promise anything magical, I just tell people what I see in the numbers and the stars. Sometimes the building is quiet, other times you can hear the neighbors. It’s a typical day-to-day life here. I stay pretty busy from morning until evening. If I'm not with someone, I'm usually catching up on my reading. It’s a simple setup, and it’s served me well enough for a long time. It is just the way I like to work.
