Down here in Kumbharia 205, I’ve got a little space where I work as an Astrologer Guru. People just call me Guru around here. It’s not a big title, just what stuck over time. My shop is easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. I keep it simple inside with a few chairs and a table. I spend a lot of time staring at charts and checking my old notes against the new ones. It’s quiet work, but I like it. People come by when they’re having a rough patch or when something good is happening and they want to know why. I don’t use a lot of jargon. I try to explain things in a way that makes sense for everyday life. The walls are a bit thin, so I can hear the street noise, but it doesn’t bother me. I’ve been in Kumbharia for a long time and I know the way the wind blows here. My calendar is usually full of scribbles and reminders. I don’t have a website or anything like that. If people need me, they find me at number 205. I take a break in the middle of the day to eat my lunch and then I’m back at it until the sun goes down. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy. I’ve met so many different people sitting in that chair across from me. It’s interesting how everyone is looking for the same kind of peace and direction in their lives.
