Joly Hair Art sits at shop number 12 in the Ganesh Apartments on Pal Road. If you know where Nutan Row-House is, we are located right across from there in the Adajan area. It is a busy road, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the traffic, but we try to keep the door closed to keep it a bit calmer for the people inside. We have set up the place with just the essentials needed for hair work. There are a few mirrors, some chairs, and our tools laid out on the side counters. It is not a place for anything fancy or over the top. We just focus on the haircuts and making sure people look decent when they head back out. Most of our regular customers come from the houses nearby. They often stop in for a quick trim or a shave on their way home from work in the evenings. Sometimes we have a few guys sitting around waiting and chatting about whatever is on the local news that day. We are not trying to be the most modern or trendy shop in Surat. We just want to provide a place where you can get your hair done without a lot of fuss or waiting. The floor needs sweeping pretty much every hour, and we stay on top of that as much as we can. It is a small operation, and we like it that way. No big rules here, just us working.
