Jay Laxmi Dairy & Sweets

Jay Laxmi Dairy & Sweets has been a part of Adajan for quite a while now. You can find us at Dn Pangra Full Road, specifically at units 18 and 19. Having two units gives us a bit more room for the big refrigerators and the display counters for our sweets. The area around Pangra Full Road is usually filled with people going about their daily shopping. We get the morning rush when everyone needs milk for their breakfast tea, and then things quiet down a bit until the afternoon. That is when people come in looking for something sweet to eat after their main meal. We make sure the lassi is cold and the sweets are neatly stacked. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular local dairy with bright lights and a lot of white tile. We spend our time talking to the locals about their day while we bag up their orders. Working in Adajan means we see a lot of the same families year after year. We keep the place running in a very straightforward way, focusing on having enough stock for the weekend rush. The street outside can get a bit messy, but inside we try to keep things orderly. It is just a normal life of selling milk and making sweets for the people who live nearby.
