We’ve been at Pramukh Darshan Complex in Punagam for a good while now. It’s unit number 7, right there where people pass by every day. When we started, we didn't have much, just a few stacks of ceramic pieces and a lot of hopes. Now the shop is usually pretty full of boxes. Dealing with tiles is heavy work, honestly. My back feels it some days, but that's just how it is when you run a local place like this. Punagam has changed a lot since we opened. There are more buildings now, which means more people need stuff for their floors and walls. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the shop gets a bit messy when a big delivery comes in. Customers come in looking for something specific, and we spend time digging through the samples. Some people know exactly what they want, while others take an hour just looking at different shades of white. It's fine though, we're here all day anyway. The traffic outside can get loud, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes we just sit on the stools and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It isn't some fancy showroom with bright lights and coffee machines. It's just a shop with tiles and us. We handle the lifting and the selling ourselves. If you’re around Punagam, you’ve probably seen our sign at the complex. It’s a simple life, selling ceramics.
