You can find us up on the second floor of Vashudev Arcade, specifically in room 211. We are right above the Hdfc Bank on Bhatar Road, which is a pretty busy spot in this part of Surat. The Rupali Naher is also quite close, so people often use that as a landmark to find the building. Being on the upper floor means it’s a bit quieter than being right on the street, which I like. You have to walk up or take the lift, but once you’re inside, it’s just a normal workspace. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the routine is always the same. We open the shutters, turn on the lights, and get the stations ready for the day. Since we are near the bank, we get a lot of people who are out doing their errands. Bhatar Road always has a lot of traffic, but from up here, it just looks like a lot of moving colors. We don't do anything too complicated or fancy. It’s just us working with our hands every day. Some of the regulars have been coming since we first opened. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work. It’s a simple life. The arcade has other shops too, so there is always people coming and going. We keep the mirrors clean and the floor swept. It’s just a basic place to get your hair and beauty stuff looked after without any fuss.
