Hemakshi Hair Point

We are over at K K Complex, Shop No 6. It’s really close to Hira Baug Circle on Varachha Road. Most people in this part of Surat know the circle well, so it’s a good landmark. We’ve been running Hemakshi Hair Point as a small local business. It’s just a one-room setup with the basic equipment. We handle a lot of walk-ins throughout the day. The traffic around the circle can be pretty loud, but it brings people in. We don’t really have a big philosophy or anything. We just cut hair and try to do a decent job. The shop is small, so it gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. We have a bench for people to wait and some old magazines. It’s a friendly place. Most of our customers are workers or families from the area. We aren't trying to be a fancy salon. It’s a hair point, just like the name says. We open up early and usually close once the sun goes down and the rush slows. We’ve seen the area around Hira Baug change a lot over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. It’s consistent. We just keep doing what we know how to do. Sometimes we have a coffee and watch the cars go by. It’s a steady life and we are okay with that. No big plans, just cutting hair every day.
