You can find us at 8 Patwa Building, which is near the Mini Bazar in Mahadev Nagar. We are located on the Manjari Road in Kadodara. It’s a very bustling part of the city and there is always something moving outside. Our workspace is usually filled with the sound of machines because there is always an order that needs finishing. We have stacks of material tucked into every corner of the room. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is kept. The building itself is quite old and has that specific smell of fabric and thread. We spend most of our hours here, sometimes staying late if there is a lot to get through. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that is usually our only break. We aren't big on meetings or corporate stuff. We just look at the designs and get to work. Most of our neighbors are also in some kind of textile business, so it feels like a big community of workers. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, but we just sweep it out and keep going. It’s a straightforward life here. We make things, we pack them up, and we move on to the next task on the list. It’s been like this for years and we don't see it changing much. We just focus on getting the orders out on time every single week.
