Gokul Dairy And Ice Cream Corner

Our shop is called Gokul Dairy And Ice Cream Corner and you can find us at Udhnagam 5th Avenue 12. It’s a small corner spot and it gets quite a bit of sun in the afternoon. We have three large freezers that stay packed with different kinds of ice cream. It is mostly for the kids who live around here. They come in with their coins after school and spend ages trying to pick a flavor. I usually have to tell them to hurry up so the cold air doesn't all escape. We also sell milk and some basic dairy items like paneer. The mornings are when the older folks come in to get their supplies for tea. We have a couple of plastic stools outside, but mostly people just stand around and talk for a bit before heading home. The floor is just plain tile and we have to mop it a lot because of the sticky drips. Sometimes the freezer makes a loud rattling noise, but it still keeps everything frozen so we haven't fixed it yet. We aren't trying to be a big brand or anything. It's just a local shop where you can get a cold treat when the weather gets too hot to handle. We keep things pretty simple here. Most days are just about watching the stock and making sure the electricity doesn't cut out for too long. We just want to stay open and keep the neighborhood happy.
