Gauri Bholenath Marble

We have been here at Kamrej for a while now. Most people know us for the marble slabs we keep out front. It started as a small yard, just a few types of stone, and it grew from there. Dealing with heavy marble isn't easy work. It gets dusty and the slabs are heavy, but we are used to it. We handle the loading and unloading ourselves mostly. People come by when they are fixing up their kitchens or floors. We show them what is in stock and let them touch the surfaces. There isn't a fancy showroom here, just the yard at number 8 where the stone is kept. Sometimes it is busy, and sometimes it is quiet. We just focus on keeping the inventory organized so when someone asks for a specific grain or color, we can find it without moving too much stuff around. It is a lot of manual labor, but it is what we do. If you are driving through Kamrej, you will see the stacks of white and grey stone near the road. We stay busy with the local contractors and neighbors who are building things. It is a straightforward business. No big speeches or complicated stuff, just selling marble to people who need it for their houses. We have seen the area change over the years, but we are still here doing the same thing every morning.
