Ganesh Pan Cente

Ganesh Pan Cente is located right at Varachha Road 95. It is a small spot but we have learned how to make it work for everything we need to do each day. The traffic on Varachha Road is always moving fast and making noise right in front of our main door. We spend most of our working hours at the small counter, preparing the white lime paste and cutting the hard nuts into tiny pieces. There really isn't much room to walk around once you get inside the shop, so we have to keep everything within arm's reach. It is a real neighborhood spot where people stop by on their way to the office or when they are finally headed home in the evening. We do not do anything flashy or special. It is just the same daily work of making sure the leaves are fresh and all the glass jars are full of supplies. Sometimes we have a little old radio playing some music in the background but usually, the sound of the cars and trucks outside is all we can hear. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint one of these days, but we stay too busy with the customers to actually get to it. We see a lot of the same people every single day, and we have learned their favorite orders by heart. It is just how things are at number 95. We keep the lights on until the street gets quiet at night.
