Femina Beauty Parlour

Femina Beauty Parlour is right in Jamna Nagar on Ghoddod Road. It’s a great location because the Jamna Nagar bus stand is almost right in front of us. We see people waiting for the bus all day long while we work inside. Ghoddod Road is one of those places in Surat that never seems to sleep. There is always someone walking by or a car honking. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and the shop has become a bit of a local fixture. We don't have the newest designer furniture, but the chairs are comfortable and the mirrors are clear. We do a lot of traditional beauty work. Most of our customers are women from the surrounding residential buildings who have been coming to us for years. It’s nice because we know their names and how they like their hair done without them even asking. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the small waiting area, especially on Saturday afternoons. We just have a couple of fans going to keep the air moving. It’s a straightforward business where we focus on the task at hand. We don't use any complicated systems for bookings; people usually just call the shop or walk in. It’s a bit old-fashioned in that way, but it works for us and our regulars in Jamna Nagar.
