Ekta Beauty Salon

Ekta Beauty Salon is tucked away in Swapnadeep Complex on Althan Road. We are at Shop No. 2007. It is near I.G. Desai School, so we see a lot of moms coming in after they drop their kids off. I started this salon because I wanted a place where local women could come and relax for a bit. It’s not a huge space but it’s cozy. We do threading, waxing, and some hair work. My sister helps me out sometimes when we get really busy. The Bhatar Road area is always crowded, but our little corner feels a bit quieter. We have some old posters on the walls and the chairs are a bit worn but they are comfortable. I don't like those fancy salons where everything feels cold. Here, we talk about our families and what is happening in the city while I work on someone’s hair or skin. It’s more like a group of friends hanging out. We try to keep the prices fair so everyone can come in. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just life here. We use the products that we know work well. Nothing too crazy. If you are looking for a place that feels like a home and not a business, you can find us near the school. We have been here a while and plan to stay.
