Dulhan Beauty Parlour

Our shop, Dulhan Beauty Parlour, is located in Jai Ambe Park on Doctor Street. We are in the Nanpura area of Surat, tucked away behind the SBI building. It is a bit of a quiet corner if you compare it to the big main roads nearby. We have been working here for many years. The shop is not large, but we keep everything in its place. We mostly do the regular stuff like eyebrows, hair, and waxing, but we also help with getting people ready for weddings. The street outside is quite narrow, so most of our customers come on their scooters instead of cars. Inside, we have some mirrors and chairs that are old but still work fine. We know almost all the families who live around here. Sometimes we have the grandmother, the mother, and the daughter all coming in on the same day. We usually talk about the local news while we are working. It is a very simple life for us. We use the same tools and supplies we have always used. When it is time for festivals, we stay open much later because everyone wants to get their work done. The walls are a light color to make the small room feel a bit bigger. We have a small fan for each station to keep the air moving.
