You can find us on the ground floor over at Ashutosh Nagri in Jahangirpura. We are right near the Exiito Commercial Hub, so there are always people moving about on Olpad Road nearby. Being on the ground floor is quite nice because we do not have to deal with elevators every time we need to run out to a site. The office at number 50 is where all our planning happens. We have desks piled high with blueprints and old notebooks. It is an architecture firm, so things can get a little cluttered with all the scale models and rolls of tracing paper. We are not really into the corporate style of doing things. We would much rather just sit down and talk about where the windows should go to get the best light during the day. It is practical work. We spend a lot of time on the phone with structural engineers or checking on site progress. Jahangirpura is a growing area, so there is always something new happening in the neighborhood. We have been here long enough to know the local regulations and how things usually go with the builders around here. It is just a small group of us working away. We like the area and the people who stop by to ask questions. Most of our days are just steady work, drawing lines and making sure everything adds up before construction starts. (254 words)
