Our place is Shop Number 3 in Maruti Chambers. We are right at Peoples Char Rasta in the Katargam area. Most people around here call the spot Gotalawadi. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always noise from the rickshaws and bikes outside. Maruti Chambers is a solid building, and we’ve been in this unit for a while. Dharmesh Hair Art is a local spot. We don’t do anything too crazy, just standard hair cutting and styling for the neighborhood guys. Katargam is a hardworking area, and we fit right in. The shop isn't huge, but we keep it organized. We have a few chairs and some mirrors that have seen better days, but they do the job. We don’t have a marketing department or a fancy website. It’s just us. We know the names of half the people who walk through the door because they live just a few streets away. The Peoples Char Rasta is always a mess of traffic, which actually helps people notice us when they are stuck at the light. We just provide a place for people to sit for twenty minutes and get their hair sorted out. It’s a simple life here in Gotalawadi. We open in the morning and close when the street lights come on. That’s about it.
