Devnarayan Ice Cream

At Varachha Road 4, we have Devnarayan Ice Cream. It is right near the start of the road, so we see everyone coming and going. We have been here for a while now, just serving ice cream to the locals. The shop is small and can get a bit crowded when a whole family comes in at once. We have a couple of big freezers that take up most of the space. I spend my days checking the stock and scooping out different flavors. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it pays the bills. Sometimes the kids who come in are a bit messy, so I am always cleaning up drips from the floor or the counter. The street outside is always noisy with motorcycles and rickshaws going past. We have a small fan behind the counter that helps a little bit with the heat. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that; it is just us here in the shop. We buy our supplies from the same people we have used for years. It is about trust and just showing up every day to do the job. We open at noon and stay until the last person leaves at night. It is a long day, but we are used to it by now. We just want to keep things running smoothly and keep serving scoops without making a big fuss about it.
