Darpan Granite & Marbles

Darpan Granite & Marbles is situated at 138/139 in the Khatodara area, right inside the Sai Ashirwad Complex. We are basically opposite the Kadodara Char Rasta, which is one of those intersections that never seems to stay quiet. Working with granite and marble is heavy, dusty work, and our yard is always full of these big stone slabs. You can find us in the Old Sangavi section of the complex. Every day involves moving these massive pieces of stone around with a lot of care so nothing cracks. We have different kinds of marble and granite just sitting there waiting to be picked out. It is not a clean job; our clothes are usually covered in stone dust by noon. The location near Kadodara Char Rasta is handy because it is easy for the big trucks to find us, though the traffic can be a real pain. We don't have a polished office or anything, just a desk and a lot of heavy inventory. People come by to look at the patterns in the stone and see what we have in stock. We mostly just talk about the thickness and the weight of the slabs with the contractors who stop by. It’s a practical business, and we just try to keep the stacks organized so we can find what we need quickly. It is hard work on the back, but it is what we do here in Khatodara every single day.
