Cut Looks Hair Art

Our little shop is in Utkarsh Complex, right at the first shop, No-1. We are in the Sagrampura area of Surat. It’s a pretty central location, so it stays busy around here. We’ve been doing haircuts for quite a while now. It’s a small space, but we make it work. We don’t have a whole lot of staff, just enough to keep the chairs filled. People come in from the surrounding offices or the local houses. We keep the shop open through the heat of the day. There isn't much room for a lot of extras, so we just focus on the basics. We don’t use any corporate language or have big goals. We just want to finish the day having done some good work. The Utkarsh Complex is a bit older, so the shop has that lived-in feel. We’ve got a radio that plays most of the day. Sagrampura is a tight-knit place, and we see the same people every few weeks. We don’t really advertise. Most people just see the sign when they are walking to the market. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We keep the scissors sharp and the combs clean. That’s about it for us. We don't have a big fancy team. It's just a few of us making sure people get what they came for. We like it simple and we like it honest.
