Cityplus Multiplex

Cityplus Multiplex is situated over on Dumas Road, near the 3rd Main Road in the K H M Block of Ganganagar. It’s not like those giant corporate cinemas you see in the big malls; we have a more local feel to us. The building has been here for a while, and we do what we can to keep the projectors running and the seats in good shape. Most of the staff here are young people from around the neighborhood who are working while they study or just starting out. We spend a lot of time cleaning up popcorn from the floors and making sure the bathrooms are okay after a big crowd leaves. On weekends, it gets really loud and busy, especially when a popular movie comes out. We have to manage the ticket lines and the snack counter all at once, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes. There are days when the air conditioning acts up or a screen has a flicker, and we just have to deal with it as best as we can right then and there. It’s a lot of standing around and waiting for the next show to start. We don't have fancy marketing teams. We just put the movie posters up and open the doors. We often find lost items like keys or glasses under the seats when we sweep up at night. It’s a decent place for people to spend a few hours out of the heat.
