Chaudhari Marine Products Private Limited is over in the Piplod area of Surat. You can find us at A-36 in Shrinathji Society which is tucked away behind Bhagyalaxmi Society. It is actually a nice and quiet spot compared to the rest of the busy city. We deal with marine products which means we are always looking at the daily catch and figuring out where to send it. Surat is a big place for food and we are just a small link in that whole chain. We do not have a massive factory or a big fleet of trucks ourselves. Most of our work is done from this office where we coordinate the supply and the sales. My cousin and I started this business a few years back because we knew the industry well. Some mornings we have to be up really early to check on the stocks. The marine business is very unpredictable and you never know what the supply will be like from one day to the next. Sometimes the cooling systems in the transport trucks fail and then we have to scramble to save the stock. It is a lot of stress but we are used to it by now. We do not have any big ads or a marketing strategy. We just have a few regular clients who trust us and we try to keep it that way. It is a simple life for us.
