Charmis Cuts & Colour

This shop sits right on Parsi Street in the Bhagal area. If you know Rani Talav, you can find us pretty easily. We are directly across from the Ronak Oil Depot. It’s a busy little corner of Surat. The building is a bit old, and the stairs up to the shop can be a little steep if you aren’t used to them. Inside, it’s mostly just me and a couple of chairs. I handle a lot of hair coloring. People come in with all sorts of ideas they saw on the internet. I try my best with what I have. The light in here isn't the brightest, so I have some extra lamps near the mirrors. It gets quite loud outside with the scooters and trucks going to the depot. Sometimes I have to close the door just to hear what the customers are saying. I’ve lived in this part of town my whole life. I know most of the families around here. We don't have fancy brochures. Most people hear about the shop from their neighbors or friends. I spend a lot of time cleaning up hair and mixing dyes in the back. It’s not a big corporate chain. It’s just my small business where I spend most of my day. I keep a radio playing some music in the background to pass the time. It feels like home to me now after all these years.
