Baskin Robbins

Our Baskin Robbins is located at La-4, right at the Nisha Pole Corner on Ghod Dod Road. It is a small shop, mostly filled with the cold cases for the ice cream. Ghod Dod Road is a busy area, but our corner feels a bit tucked away. We spend a lot of our time just cleaning the glass because people are always leaning on it to look at the flavors. It is very quiet in the mornings when it is too hot for anyone to be out. We mostly just sit and wait for the sun to go down. That is when the families start showing up. We don't have many tables, so it gets a bit tight when more than five people come in at once. We spend our shift scooping and weighing things out. It is a simple job but your arms get tired after a while from the frozen tubs. We have a small back room where we keep the extra supplies, but there isn't much space to move around. We don't have a big corporate team here. It is just a couple of local people working the shifts. We know the people who work in the other shops around Nisha Pole. We often trade stories when things are slow. It is a nice enough place to work, especially when it is boiling hot outside and we are standing next to the freezers all day. We just keep the lights on and the cases cold until it is time to lock up.
