Babi Beauty Parlour

I have been running Babi Beauty Parlour in Vesu for some time now. Vesu has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings coming up, but we are still here doing what we do. It is a simple setup. I do not think you need anything too flashy to do a good job with hair or facials. Mostly, it is just me and a couple of girls helping out. We get a lot of students and office workers coming in because of where we are located in Surat. Sometimes it gets really crowded on Saturday afternoons, and the small waiting area gets full, but people usually do not mind waiting a bit. They look through the old magazines we have or just chat with each other. I try to keep the mirrors clean, though the humidity makes it a constant job. We do a lot of basic stuff like waxing and eyebrow shaping. Nothing too complicated. Most people around here know us by now. It is not like those big salons in the malls where nobody knows your name. Here, we talk about the weather or what is happening in the neighborhood. My hands are usually covered in some kind of cream or hair dye by the end of the day. It is just how it is. We open up early and stay until the last customer is done. It is a living and I like being part of the Vesu community. It is just a regular local business.
