Baba Sai Hair Parlour

We are situated in Shop Number 5 of Sagar Society, which is on L H Road. We are directly across from Nilkamal Society, so it’s a very residential area with a lot of families nearby. The shop is a basic hair parlour for the local guys. We have a few stations set up with mirrors and the usual tools like clippers and scissors. It isn't a large place, so it can feel a bit cramped when there are three or four people waiting. We have a bench against the wall for that. Most of our day is spent doing standard haircuts. We don't do anything too complicated. The L H Road gets very busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work, so that is usually our busiest time. We stay open late enough to catch the people who can't come during the day. The shop doesn't have any polished or modern decor. It’s just painted walls and a simple floor. We have a small radio that we keep on for some background noise. We know most of the people who walk through the door because they live just a few minutes away. We just try to be helpful and do a good job so people feel comfortable coming back. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just open the shutters in the morning and work until it’s time to go home.
