Astitva Hair & Beauty Saloon

The shop is at Shop No.16 in Krishna Township over on Satellite Road. We are right in the Mota Varachha area of Surat. It is quite close to the State Bank branch so people usually find us pretty easily when they are out doing their banking chores. We started this saloon because we lived in the neighborhood and saw people needed a place for hair and beauty stuff that wasn't too far away. It is not a very big place but we have enough chairs for everyone. Most days it is just us working through the morning until late evening when the street gets busy. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up but we try to keep it cool for the customers. We do haircuts and some facial things too for whoever walks in. It’s not like those big fancy chains you see in the mall. We know most of the people who come here by their first names. Honestly, it is just a normal local business where we try to do a decent job with the scissors and the creams. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, but on weekends it gets a bit crowded. The floor gets covered in hair fast and we are always sweeping. If you are around Satellite Road you probably seen the sign. We just keep things simple and try to make sure nobody leaves looking worse than when they came in. It's home for us.
