Aradhana Beauty Care

I’ve been running Aradhana Beauty Care at Shop No 9 in Green Velley Residency for a while now. It’s right on the main road in the Adajan Dn area of Surat. If you know the neighborhood, we’re located near the 9/H Gangeshwar Mahadev Mandir and right across from Tapi Restaurant. Most days, I get here early to sweep the front and get the chairs ready for the first few people. The shop isn't a big, fancy place, just a simple spot where we do regular hair and skin work for the people living nearby. Since we are on the main road, it can get a bit noisy with all the traffic and the sounds from the temple, but you get used to it after a while. A lot of our customers come in after they finish their shopping or on their way home from the restaurant. I’ve lived in Surat for years and I like this part of town. We don't use any complicated systems here. We just take people as they come or if they call ahead to see if we are free. The shop has a few mirrors and the usual tools we need. It’s a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting at the same time, but everyone is usually pretty patient. I handle most of the threading and facials myself with some help. Sometimes the afternoon sun hits the front window pretty hard, so we keep the curtains drawn. It’s just a normal, local business.
