Advance Overseas

Being at B- 4 on the first floor of Parishram Park keeps us right in the middle of everything. We are right at the Dhuliya Char Rasta, which is a junction that is always full of noise and movement from the local traffic. It is a busy spot, so there is always something to look at outside the window if we take a second to breathe. Our office is a straightforward space with a few desks and a lot of shelving for all the files and paperwork we keep. At Advance Overseas, we spend most of our time on the computer or handling various documents that come across our desks during the week. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so we get plenty of exercise every day just coming and going. We have a small corner where we keep the electric kettle and some cups for when we need a tea break. The walls are mostly bare except for a few notes and a calendar pinned up near the telephones. We get a lot of mail every morning, and sorting through it is how we usually start our day. It is not a large team here, so we all know exactly what needs to be done without much talk. Sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to hear on the phone, so we have to close the windows even when it is hot.
