Adinath Stones

We have been set up at the Rubina Shopping Centre on Udhana Magdalla Road for a good while now. It is right near the big water tank, which is usually how people find their way to us if they are not from this part of town. The shop is often a bit dusty because of all the stone we move around, but that is just the way it goes in this line of work. We spend most of our mornings unloading trucks and trying to keep the slabs organized so we can actually find what we need when someone walks in. There is quite a bit of noise from the road traffic outside, but you eventually stop noticing it after a few weeks. Most of the folks who come by are just local neighbors looking for a piece of stone for a small repair or a home project. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned showroom or anything like that, just a basic workspace where we keep our stock and talk to the people who stop by. Sometimes it stays quiet for a few hours, and then suddenly three people show up at once wanting to look at the same pallet of stone. We are a small crew here, just a few of us making sure the inventory is where it belongs. The other shop owners at the centre are nice, and we all kind of watch out for each other.
