About Montfort School Complex – Education in Sundergarh
Down here by the Kansbahal Post, our school is a familiar spot for most people in the neighborhood. It’s not a fancy setup, just a solid set of buildings where we gather every morning. You’ll see the kids arriving on cycles or walking down the dusty roads when the sun starts getting warm. The school complex has grown a bit over the years, adding a room here and there whenever we needed more space. We have a playground that gets a lot of use, even if the grass doesn't always stay green during the dry months. The teachers live nearby, so you often see them at the local market or heading home after the final bell rings. We try to keep things organized, but schools are always a bit noisy and chaotic by nature. There’s usually someone fixing a desk or painting a wall somewhere on the property. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just classrooms, some blackboards, and a place for the children to learn their lessons. It’s a working-class area and the school reflects that. We focus on the basics. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows wider for some light. It’s just how things are in this part of the world. We know the families around here and they know us, which makes it feel more like a community than just a place of work. It is simple but it gets the job done for the children every single day.
