Mangalaa Steel Industries

Mangalaa Steel Industries is set up at Plot No. 15 in the New Sidco Industrial Area. Srinagar is where we call home, and this industrial area is where we spend most of our time. Dealing with steel isn't exactly clean work, so our place looks like a real workshop should look. We have been at Plot 15 for quite some time now. The New Sidco area has a lot of other businesses too, so there is always some kind of activity happening nearby. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby to wait in. You just walk in and someone will be there working with the steel. It’s a straightforward operation. We take the raw material and turn it into whatever is needed for the project. It’s heavy work, but we’ve got the right equipment for it. The team here is small and we’ve worked together for a long time. We don't really do marketing or anything fancy. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. We just try to be fair and do a decent job every time someone asks for help. The weather in Srinagar can be a bit much sometimes, especially when it gets cold, but the work doesn't stop. We just put on our gear and get to it. That’s the way it's always been for us at Mangalaa Steel. We're just workers doing our thing and staying busy.
