Mir Steel Rolling Mills

Mir Steel Rolling Mills is located out in Igc Asipura, right by the power house. It’s a busy spot and the machines are running most of the day. We spend a lot of time moving heavy steel around and making sure the rollers are set up right for whatever order we are working on. It’s hot work and can get pretty loud in the mill when everything is going at once. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so we know the sound of the machines and when something needs a bit of grease or a quick fix. We get trucks coming in and out all day long through the gate. Sometimes the traffic near the power house makes things slow down, but we just keep at it. Our yard has piles of scrap and finished bars waiting to be loaded up. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. It’s a workplace where we get our hands dirty and make sure the steel is shaped the way it’s supposed to be. People around here know where we are because of the big sign and the sound of the metal. We have a small office space for the paperwork, but most of us are usually out on the floor or near the loading area. It’s just what we do every day from morning until the last shift ends. We don't spend much time on fancy talk, we just focus on the heat and the metal.
