Jodhkan Kissan Mitr Producer Companylimited is right near the Goswami Dharamsala in VPO Jodhkan. We have Shop Number 09, which is easy to find if you are in the area. We are basically a "kissan mitr" or friend of the farmer, which is exactly how we try to act. It is a producer company run by the people who actually work the land. Being near the Dharamsala means there are always people around, which we like. It is a social spot. We use the shop as a base to help each other out with farming needs. It is not a big warehouse or a corporate headquarters. It is just a small shop where we can sit down and figure out our plans for the year. We have been part of the Jodhkan community for a long time. The work is hard and the margins are often thin, but doing it together makes it a bit easier. We do not use any marketing tricks or polished language. We just tell it like it is. If the crop is good, we are happy. If it is not, we figure out what to do next. It is a very local, very grounded way of doing things.
