Our place is at D. No.10-63A in Tatavarimitta. It’s out in Utukuru, which is part of Vidavaluru mandal in Nellore. If you know this area, you know it’s all about the water. We are a group of fish and shrimp farmers who decided to team up. We call ourselves Premium Aqua Rythu Sangham. The name sounds formal, but we are just guys in boots most of the day. The ponds need a lot of attention. We are up before the sun to check on things. Nellore has a lot of history with aqua farming, and we are just continuing that. Our office isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we keep our records and meet. Sometimes the salt from the water gets on everything. We deal with the local weather, which can be tough on the stocks. It's a lot of manual labor, checking the nets and the feed every single day. We share what we know about the water quality and help each other out when someone has a problem with their pond. It’s better than working all by yourself. We have been in Utukuru for a long time. The local people here know us. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the ponds and hope for a good harvest. That is our life out here in the Nellore countryside. Nellore has its own way of doing things, and we have been doing this for so long it’s just second nature to us now.
