Suranchal Musicals

Our shop, Suranchal Musicals, is tucked away at 95/A in the Shanti Niketan Apartments. We are on Street Number 4, which is right across from the government school in Krishna Nagar, Safdarjung Enclave. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, except for when the school kids are coming or going. We have been here for a good while, surrounded by instruments and music books. The apartment space is small, but it fits everything we need. People from Safdarjung Enclave know the spot because of the school across the road. We spend our days tuning things or helping someone pick out their first guitar. It’s not a high-pressure environment. We just sit here and talk about music with whoever walks in. Sometimes the repairs take longer than we thought, so there are always half-fixed things lying around on the workbenches. Street Number 4 is easy to find if you know where the Krishna Nagar area is. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes by. It’s a bit dusty with all the old instruments, but it feels like home to us. Working across from the school means we see a lot of the same faces every day. We just keep doing what we do, one day at a time, right here in Safdarjung Enclave. It's a bit cramped with all the boxes, but we manage fine.
