We are situated at 111/9/B, which is right behind the Jharpreet Ford near Sahara Restaurant in Kishan Garh. Vasant Kunj is the general area, but we’re a bit tucked away in this pocket. Bar Academy Of Delhi isn't like a traditional school with rows of desks; it's more like a practical setup where people can actually learn the trade. We focus on teaching the basics of working behind a bar. There are bottles everywhere, mostly for practice, and a lot of glassware that needs constant washing. It’s a hands-on environment, so things can get a bit wet and messy on the floor sometimes. We spend our days showing how to pour correctly and how to handle the equipment without breaking anything. The students who come here are usually looking to get into the hospitality industry. We don’t have a flashy entrance, just a door that leads into our training space. It can get quite loud when everyone is practicing at once. Being near the restaurant helps people find us, though we still have to give directions over the phone quite often. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, set up the stations, and spend the day working with whoever is enrolled. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and repetitive movements, but that is the nature of the work. We just try to pass on what we know about the job without any fuss.
