Siddh Krushi Clinic

Our place, Siddh Krushi Clinic, is tucked away in Hauz Khas Village. We are in building H2 on the third floor. It’s kind of a strange spot for a krushi clinic if you think about all the fancy cafes and shops around here, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their crops and what kind of help they need with their land. The walk up to the third floor keeps us fit, though it’s a bit of a climb when we have samples to carry. The village is always crowded with tourists and students, which makes for an interesting walk to the office every morning. We have a small room where we keep all our records and some books on farming. It’s pretty quiet up here compared to the street below. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they know someone we helped before. We usually have some soil samples sitting on the desks and maps of different farm areas pinned to the walls. It’s a simple setup. We drink a lot of coffee and try to stay on top of the latest things happening in agriculture. It’s a good life, even if the stairs are steep and the parking in the village is a nightmare most days. We just keep doing what we do and focus on the day at hand. Usually, the phone starts ringing early, so we stay pretty active.
