Precision Agritech

We are up on the third floor of the NCUI Building in the Siri Institutional Area. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, located right on August Kranti Marg, across from the old Asiad Village. Precision Agritech is based here, and it’s more of an office environment than a farm, even though we deal with agriculture. From our windows, you can see some of the greenery around the institutional area, which is a nice break from the typical Delhi streets. The office is pretty basic—just some desks, some computers, and a lot of talk about crops and technology. We spend most of our time looking at data or coordinating with people out in the field. It’s not a very big team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. Sometimes the lift in the building is out of order, so we have to take the stairs, which is quite a climb to the third floor. We don’t really go in for big marketing talk or anything like that. We just try to help farmers use better tools and methods. The building has a bit of an institutional feel to it, very official and serious. Most of us bring our lunch from home and eat together in the small pantry. It’s a steady kind of job. We are just regular people trying to make sense of how technology can help out with farming in this country.
